There is a wake of pain and destruction in and around us when we don't believe and embrace the value we have in Jesus. When something (or someone) doesn't have value, we feel at liberty to minimize it, attack it, and ultimately destroy it. When we don't embrace God's priceless value over us, we mistreat ourselves and others. Relationships fail, destructive thoughts and actions take hold, and we spin out of control. Freedom from all of that is found when we are rooted in our priceless identity as God's beloved. In fact, not only are we loved by God, He calls us His "masterpiece."
