What To Expect

Here's what to expect when visiting Harbor Kids for the first time. First, find the check-in counter in the lobby. There we will meet your family, check your child into our system, and give you any information you may need for the morning.

Upon checking in for the first time, we will ask for the following personal information (NOTE: We value your privacy and will not share this information with anyone):

- Parent/guardian name(s)
- Child's name
- Child's birthdate
- Phone number
- Any special instructions (allergies, special needs)

The Check-In Process

Before Service: Harbor Kids check-in opens fifteen minutes before service. We have a new family check-in counter located in the lobby and self-check-in tablets located outside the Harbor Kids rooms for returning families. After finding/entering your child’s name in the database, you and your child will be given matching name tags that are exclusive to your family and your visit. Your child will need to wear the name tag portion while you hold onto the matching tag.

After Service: After the service is complete, you will return to your child’s room and show your tag for your child to be released back to you.

Safety: Your child's safety is of the utmost importance to us. Not only do we train all of our teachers and volunteers, but they must complete a full background check before serving in Harbor Kids. We also have a dedicated security team that roams the campus to ensure your child's safety as they participate in our services.

Harbor Early Learning Center was launched as a ministry of Harbor Church in 2021 and continues today. Harbor ELC is an accredited early learning center that is dedicated to the spiritual, emotional, physical, social, and intellectual development of children through innovative education and relationships.
