Lies are bad. They destroy trust, erode friendships, and eat away at our character. Lies become snares that trap us and enslave us to falsehoods. The most painful lies are the ones we tell ourselves. We whisper and shout that we are not enough, that we are all alone, that we are unseen, and we are out of time. These, and others, are lies we tell.

We must change these narratives, step out of the slavery from these lies, and embrace the freedom Jesus offers us. Freedom from lies is found on the other side of the truth Jesus speaks over us.
