HY Summer Sunday

Summer Sundays at Harbor Youth are some of our favorite nights of the year. During the summer we slow things down a bit, spend more time hanging out, playing games, eating snacks, and simply enjoying being together as a community. It is a relaxed and fun environment where students can invite friends, build deeper friendships, and still spend intentional time growing in their faith. Throughout the summer we will be focusing on Ephesians 5:14-16. We will kick off our nights with small devos and invitations for students to go deeper in their walk.

If you have never been to Harbor Youth before, summer is one of the best times to jump in. Come hang out, meet some great people, and be part of a night that is both fun and meaningful.

HY Kids Camp Volunteer Nights

HY Students, register by clicking HERE for this serve opportunity! Kids camp runs for three nights from 5:30 to 7:30 PM, and we are looking for students to step in and serve, whether that is helping with games, leading a small group, running crafts, or simply showing up and being a steady and encouraging presence in a kid’s life.

This year’s kids camp theme is God’s Big Party, and it is exactly what it sounds like. Throughout Scripture we see that God is a God who celebrates, and every time someone turns to Him, heaven throws a party. This summer, we get to help kids see that they are invited into that. We are looking for students to step in and serve, whether that is helping with games, leading a small group, running crafts, or simply showing up and being a steady and encouraging presence in a kid’s life. Kids entering pre K through 5th grade are coming to experience this, and we get to help make it unforgettable.

HY Sweat and Serve Tuesday

Click HERE to view the registration link

This summer, we’re creating a weekly rhythm designed to help students grow in discipline, community, and a faith that LIVES! Sweat & Serve Tuesday is a morning experience where students will start their day with a workout, share breakfast together, and spend time in a short devotional before heading out to serve in our local community.

Each week, students will have the opportunity to serve in practical ways such as supporting local organizations (currently setting up partnerships), helping with community projects, and meeting real needs around our city.

This is a great opportunity for students to build friendships, develop consistency in their walk with Jesus, and keep the body healthy!

We ask for $5 per student to help cover food and gas cost.

HY Summer Sunday | Come Up Night

This is a big one. Come Up Night is here, which means our incoming 6th graders are officially invited to start stepping into Harbor Youth. If you are finishing 5th grade, this night is for you. We want you here.

We are bringing back Bizarre Trade Night because last month first time trade night was AWESOME. Bring up to three items, this can be anything of any value, and see if you can trade your way up. No pressure if you do not bring anything, you can still jump in and be part of it!

After that, we are going all in on our annual Water Night. Expect chaos, team games, and a whole lot of fun. You will get soaked, so bring a towel if you want and come ready! Students don’t have to do the water night if they don’t want to. We have plenty of other ways to hang out and enjoy the night.

We cannot wait to welcome the next group into HY!

Students should wear clothes they can get soaked in and bring a towel. We will have snacks, drinks, and plenty of time to hang out together. Summer at Harbor Youth is all about community, laughter, and creating space for students to grow deeper in their friendships and their faith.

HY Sunday

May at Harbor Youth will be a new Old Testament series focused on learning to trust God in seasons of preparation. As we look at the lives of figures like Isaiah, Jeremiah, and Ezekiel. This series will intentionally cast vision for the summer ahead, challenging students not to drift spiritually when schedules change but to use their time to go deeper with Jesus. Summer is not meant to be a pause in faith but an opportunity for growth, obedience, and deeper relationship with God.

Through Scripture, discussion, and practical challenges, students will be encouraged to build rhythms with Jesus that carry beyond youth group and into everyday life. There will be games, food, and plenty of time to connect, but our heart is to help students step into a summer marked by intentional faith and deeper pursuit of Christ.

We are finishing out our April series focused on how the Old Testament has always pointed forward to Jesus. From promise to prophecy to fulfillment, students are seeing that the entire Bible tells one unified story of redemption and that Easter was never God’s backup plan but His plan all along. As we wrap up this series, our Student Leaders will be leading the night, stepping up to teach, facilitate, and create some FUN. This night is important because it allows our High School leaders to take charge and learn how to lead.

There will be pizza, drinks, snacks, games, and time to hang out. Sunday nights are fun and intentional, all centered on helping students walk out what it truly means to live in Christ.
