Pain, sorrow, and doubt are unavoidable parts of the human experience. Yet, for many, these seasons can feel like spiritual isolation—times when God seems distant or silent. Home for the Heartbroken will create a safe and honest space where believers, new believers, and even those exploring faith can confront the weight of their sorrow and questions. Through the book of Lamentations, we will see that God not only sees those who are hurting but meets them in their pain with His presence, His peace, and His promise of restoration.
This series will encourage the Harbor family to acknowledge suffering without shame, embrace the spiritual practice of lament, and recognize that even in the darkest seasons, God is at work. We will also cultivate a deeper empathy and compassion within our church body, equipping all to notice and walk alongside the hurting.
