The Party Is Here!

This year, we are raising funds for Casa de la Esperanza.

Casa de la Esperanza, which means House of Hope, is exactly that for many children in northern Mexico. When children first arrive at Casa, they have often been rescued from traumatic situations and come hungry, exhausted, frightened, and unsure of what lies ahead. While their stories are heartbreaking, their arrival marks the beginning of hope. For the first time, they experience a safe, clean, and loving Christian home where they can heal, grow, and discover the love of Christ.

This year's Harbor Block Party fundraiser will support Casa's new Transitional Housing Program for young adults who have grown up at Casa and are now attending the local university. Located in six renovated duplexes on the church property, these homes will provide a safe environment where students can experience the accountability, support, and independence needed to thrive as they enter adulthood. Funds raised will help furnish the homes with furniture and appliances, as well as purchase a vehicle to provide reliable transportation to school, work at Casa, church, and other daily responsibilities. Together, we can help these young adults build a strong foundation for the future.
